Pourward is a project designed for a client to bring more to coffee than just the caffeine. Pourward is a buy-a-cup give-a-cup system, where individuals who have a Pourward silicone sleeve buy a cup of coffee for a stranger and put the sleeve on that cup.
Each sleeve has a tracking number and a URL so that these individuals can go to pourward.com and tell their story about how they got their sleeve and how great it made their day. They can also track where that sleeve has been so they can see how the sleeve got to them. From there the cycle continues.
Pourward.com was made using HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery, and PHP to interact with an SQL database to store stories and locations of sleeves.
During the two years I worked for UW-Stout's University Housing Design I created numerous websites for department use. Smart + Healthy was a website created to highlight UW-Stout's University Housing's various health-related campaigns. There were seven different projects that were highlighted for quick references to viewed by students or to be used in presentations to incoming freshman.
Hello, I'm glad you're here!
I am a web designer and developer based in Minneapolis, MN. While I have been trained in both design and development through my BFA in Multi-Media Design at University of Wisconsin-Stout, my real love is for code. I find few things more satisfying in the world than solving a tough problem with a creative solution and to create new interactions and experiences through code.
